Timothy Bledsoe (Ph.D. University of Nebraska). Professor. Urban Politics, American Politics, Methodology. 


 
Professor Bledsoe is a specialist in urban politics and research methods. He is the author of Careers In City Politics: The Case for Urban Democracy (1993) and co-author of Urban Reform and Its Consequences: A Study In Representation. His articles appear in the American Political Science Review, the American Journal of Political Science, the American Journal of Sociology, American Politics Quarterly, Urban Affairs Review, Policy Studies Journal, and other journals in the discipline. Professor Bledsoe is currently at work on an NSF funded research project linking racial attitudes and experiences to the local racial environment in the metropolitan Detroit area. Professor Bledsoe received the Probus Club Academic Achievement Award for Social Sciences and Humanities in 1992 and the Career Development Award for 1994-95.
