    Professor Strate teaches courses in statistics, policy analysis, biopolitics, introductory political science, and American government. Areas of research interest currently include end-of-life issues and policies including physician-assisted suicide and pain management.   Recent publications include articles in Mortality, American Review of Politics, and Politics and the Life Sciences.
