PS7710: ASSIGNMENT

TOPIC: DEFINITION

Work together with your colleagues to produce the best possible definition of the concept of "structure."  You may use any resources as long as you cite them appropriately.  The twist, here, is that this is a collaborative assignment.  The entire class will work together on the definition using http://comparativeseminar.wikispaces.com/definition as a collective blackboard on which to jot ideas, paste (cited) text and, ultimately, to fashion a well-elaborated and useful definition.  Effective coordination and cooperation is at a premimum here because there is no hierarchy in a wiki model.  Anybody can add or subtract and can do so anonymously, and the final grade (factored in to everyone's grade) will depend on the overall quality of the definition rather than your particular contribution.
